Job description

Fixed Term Contract (due to funding) until 30th March 2025 - Funded by Cambridge City Council

We’re looking for someone to hit the ground running.

The Role

You will be supporting people aged 18-35 to identify their goals around money, work and being online; developing their skills and confidence around those issues; and enabling them to make progress towards their goals.

The role involves meeting customers in their own homes, homeless hostels, other accommodation, or community venues for appointments which last, on average, about an hour. You will need to be tolerant of different lifestyles and pets e.g. dogs and cats.

About You


  • Experience of delivering individual support through coaching and identifying people’s training needs.
  • Experience of working with socially or financially disadvantaged, excluded or vulnerable people.
  • Experience of delivering services through lone working.
  • Relevant qualification in the area of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) desirable, but not essential.
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes, essential.
