New Product Development Manager - The role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to contribute to the advancement of our innovative sustainable food alternatives. In this role, you will spearhead formulation and New Product Development initiatives focusing on innovating in the culinary space. You will be the driving factor behind our client's New Product launch and grow alongside the product.
New Product Development Manager - Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely Establish clear and ambitious objectives for the product team, facilitating swift action and positive impacts
- Supervise the development of flavours and tastes, encompassing cooking and handling protocols
- Generate and apply novel processing and formulation concepts
- Develop a longer-term strategy while meticulously scrutinizing the data quality of our client’s food database and recommendations
- Engage in fermentation Research and Development (R&D) and implement enhancements in downstream processing
- Collaborate with partners to scale up production from laboratory to pilot scale in preparation for launch
- Collaborating within cross-functional teams, including engineering and data science, drawing upon the strengths of team members
New Product Development Manager - You:
-Must have 5+ years of product management or Product Development experience within the food and beverage industry
- Previous experience in food formulation, production and engineering
- You will ideally have a Food Science or Nutrition degree
- Hands-on product manager, willing to undertake all necessary actions to ensure the success of your product, blending strategic thinking with tactical execution
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
- Deep passion for food and sustainability
- Adept at developing and executing product roadmaps
