Job description

Manpower is recruiting a Band 2 Receptionist / Booking Clerk to work for our client, the NHS. As a Band 2 Receptionist / Booking Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reception Duties: Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Booking Services: Efficiently schedule and manage appointments, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  3. Communication: Provide clear and concise information to patients and staff, both in person and over the phone.
  4. Administration: Perform general administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to facilitate a coordinated and patient-centered approach.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or Booking Clerk role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with health care systems and processes is an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

ContractTemporary, duration 2-3 monthsLocation SwanseaWorking HoursFull time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridayHourly rate£11.45Immediate start subject to written references and satisfactory DBS check.
