HPTO Architect
CPL have partnered with Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) to recruit for an Architect (HPTO Grade) to join their team on a temporary contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension.
· Pay Rate - £17.09 per/hr
· Location – DfC, Heritage Buildings Designation Branch
· Benefits – 37 days holiday per annum
· Hours – 37 hours per week
Responsibilities will include:
· Support the work of a Senior Conservation Architect as part of an architectural survey team to scope, survey, photograph, research and compile historic building records, leading to objective group evaluations. Prepare recommendations for submission to the Department’s statutory advisory bodies and manage the records to their conclusion.
· Contribute to Branch management by contributing to regular team discussion.
· Support the work of a Senior Area Conservation Architect to liaise with applicants /owners/planning applicants as first point of contact through phone calls, general e-mail queries and by letter. Provide input for Ministerial correspondence, etc.
· Support the work of a Senior Area Conservation architect on matters relating to Climate Change and the Historic Environment and regarding Advice/Guidance publications.
Essential Experience/Qualifications
ARB Registered Architect – 1 year’s conservation experience.
