Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our team. The Night Care Assistant will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents during night shifts. This position offers the opportunity for personal and professional growth, including the chance to complete NVQ Level 2 and/or 3 qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with continence care, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain a clean and hygienic environment, including bedrooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
• Implement and adhere to safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
• Follow COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines when handling cleaning products.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and protocols, taking appropriate measures to promote a safe working environment.
• Act as a supportive team member, collaborating with colleagues to deliver the highest standard of care.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, fostering positive relationships and ensuring residents' needs are met with compassion and respect.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
• Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting residents' independence and well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caring for vulnerable individuals.
