Non-Clinical Educator

Job summary The non-clinical educator will identify and support the learning needs of primary care workforce in particular the non-clinical roles and work with key stakeholders to organise, develop and deliver training. Acting as an expert resource and champion for education and best practice, ensuring local training resources are appropriate and up-to-date, and working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and senior colleagues. Specific education interventions will be provided and may be co-developed with key stakeholders. They will also assist in coordinating the delivery and evaluation of training. The non-clinical educator with work closely with the clinical educator to develop quality learning environments, support the primary care workforce in accessing quality assured training The post will be offered on a 12 month FTC This role is a hybrid role Key responsibilities Deliver high quality evidence based education and training sessions across Birmingham and Solihull and supporting all learners primary care Work to an agreed job plan to maximise education delivery to support staff and patient experience. Work closely with the Clinical Lead and Training Hub team to identify areas that require support Work with the clinical educator and subject matter experts to produce creative, engaging and informative educational content Develop content for virtual learning environment and a range of different platforms Facilitate student learning groups/forums within practice Support the development and use of clinical competency assessments in practice. Work across boundaries to proactively develop and sustain partnerships Provide coaching and mentorship if required Participate in audit, service improvement and research projects relevant to the non- clinical educator role Maintain information systems (databases and attendance sheets) for effective monitoring and communication of all activities Be able to keep and record actions taken in role and report back on outcomes both verbally and in formal written reports Non- Clinical Educator JD and Person Spec Emphasise the importance and promote the development of a quality learning environment for all learners. Support the Training Hub team with the implementation and delivery of the HEE Quality Framework across all placements Submit monthly highlight reports
