Pay Rate: £30 per hour (assignment rate)

Main Duties:

• To provide a specialist SLT therapy service to patients diagnosed with a neurological condition in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge/neuro qualifications.
• To be a specialist resource of information for health and social care staff, patients, families, carers and external agencies who may require advice, support and guidance in the management of these patients.
• To transfer individual patients’ on-going care to other agencies as appropriate and ensure that the service provided is conducted in a professional, efficient and effective way.
• To meet the service specification objectives as part of a team providing high quality neuro services

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:

• Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
• Recent UK/NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
