The role of Chair of the Audit Committee is a broad and critical role for Danske Bank UK. The successful candidate will be a highly credible individual with a strong commercial track record and pre-existing board level experience (at executive or non-executive level) in an environment where risks are identified, understood and effectively managed. Given the responsibilities of the role it is essential that the successful candidate is a fully qualified accountant, with financial services experience and an understanding of finance in all its facets including Capital, Liquidity and Treasury; experience in making financial decisions; experience in financial accounting practices and reporting and experience in audit related matters.
