A PRU / Pupil Referral Unit are desperately seeking a positive, enthusiastic Learning Mentor with exceptional behaviour management skills.
The PRU / Pupil Referral Unit is based in Winkleigh and offers an alternative curriculum to students aged 7 – 16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education.
As a Learning Mentor, it is essential that you have the following:
- A good standard of education and can identify areas of improvement required when working on a 1:1 basis
- You need to have the desire to help pupils overcome barriers and achieve the best results
- You will be supporting across a range of vocational courses, such as Construction, Hospitality and Outdoor Education activities
- The roles available vary between 3-5 days per week
All our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance.
