Job Title:NPD Manager
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: c£45,000
The Role:
- Leading the development team through all aspects of product development from conception to launch, conducting weekly meetings to guide the team and ensure projects are on schedule.
- Management of multiple NPD projects within agreed timeframes and ensure that costings are accurate and managed consistently through the correct use of Excel.
- Ensure products comply with customer brand standards and maintain strong customer relationships through communication and the correct paperwork is submitted for every submission/project.
- Conduct customer visits in order to present products and conduct trails and launches.
- Ensure that all products are up to the correct quality and safety standards.
The Candidate:
- Extensive background in Food Manufacturing working within the NPD department and experience working with UK retailers.
- A degree within food science or a related discipline would be beneficial.
- Must have a good understanding and experience in costing products and computer literate in using Excel.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Good people skills and coaching skills
- Attention to detail and passion for food.
