I am partnered with a prestigious law firm known for its reputation in criminal defence. Operating from multiple locations throughout the North West, this firm has a long-standing reputation as outstanding defence lawyers, offering a blend of traditional high street law firm values with a modern 21st-century approach. This role will involve all aspects of criminal defence work, from representing clients at the police station through to court appearances. The successful candidate will join a busy and esteemed Crime Department.
The role involves handling all aspects of criminal defence cases, providing legal advice and representation at police stations and courts, and managing and preparing legal documentation and case files. Additionally, it requires liaising with clients, law enforcement, and court personnel to ensure effective case management and client representation.
Experience Needed:
- Newly qualified solicitor or duty solicitor
- High standard of computer literacy and keyboard skills
- Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full driving licence and access to a car (a car parking space will be provided)
