Alongside the great job satisfaction and security you’ll get from your role, and on-the-job training and development, we go above and beyond what you’d expect from other employers in the care sector.
We pay at least the real Living Wage, and can offer you a range of benefits, including:
- a variety of shift patterns, for example the option to condense your hours into three longer days
- professional subscriptions paid for registered nurses and nurse associates
- staff benefits hub - save money and get cashback on mobile phones, insurance and clothing, along with savings at a range of supermarkets for that essential weekly shop
- healthcare scheme - claim cash back on dental check-ups, physio, gym membership and more
- support for staff through our employee assistance programme
- pension scheme with a range of options
- paid induction, study time and enhanced DBS check
- free uniform and car parking.
About the role
Do you want to utilise your nursing skills in a not-for-profit setting within adult social care? (Or perhaps your registration has lapsed - we can support you to re-gain professional currency).
Your role will involve providing care for residents in line with their wishes and best interests, and supervising, mentoring and supporting colleagues. You will assess care needs, develop person centred care plans and evaluate programmes of care.
You will also monitor and check the work of others, ensuring that the care provided is safe, effective, caring and responsive.
About you
You should have post registration nursing experience, ideally gained in a care setting and the ability to lead and mentor a team. You will also need to demonstrate a full understanding of person centred care planning processes, a genuine interest in caring for older people, combined with good communication and organisational skills.
Staff rotas are issued in advance so that you can plan your work and other commitments and we maintain good staff to resident ratios which ensure you will have the time and support needed to provide high standards of care.
