Happy Days Nursery in Weston-Super-Mare is seeking an unqualified Nursery Assistant to join our incredible team!

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and energetic person to join friendly and welcoming team in setting that you cannot help but fall in love with!

As Nursery Assistant you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children, by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum “Where Children Shine”

Your roles and responsibilities as Nursery Assistant would include –

Performance

• Supporting the effective running on the nursery by being organised, and have the ability to plan and prioritise your work
• Being positive, confident and honest
• Having great initiative and a “can do” attitude

Outstanding Childcare

• Being a “key person” for a group of children, ensuring that their care and development needs are being met at all times
• Using our unique “Where Children Shine” curriculum to observe, plan and assess children’s learning opportunities
• Understanding and implementing safeguarding, health and safety and welfare requirement policies and practices

Working with Others

• Be a dedicated team player, and valuing the experience and skills of your colleagues
