Responsibilities:
Childcare Support:
- Assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of children
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for children to learn and play.
Activities and Curriculum:
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs.
- Engage children in creative and developmental play.
Safety and Well-being:
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for children at all times.
- Monitor and address the individual needs of each child, including health and dietary requirements.
Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency in care and education.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Basic understanding of child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
