Nursery Nurse Apprentice

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, confident people to learn to be Nursery Nurses in our Llanishen Nursery. The aim is that you will then have a permanent job with us, once you have completed your apprenticeship.

Candidates will embark on a childcare qualification soon after starting their job with us.

You will work with a friendly, supportive team, caring for children between the ages of 0-8 years.

Our nursery is open from 7.30am - 6pm.

Responsibilities:

Your initial responsibilities will be to understand how a childcare setting works while studying for your first qualification (Level 2). Along side studying for your qualification, you will learn how to:-

• Ensure all the children’s physical, emotional and developmental needs are met.
• Carry out effective activity planning in line with nursery policies in order to provide the children with stimulating activities appropriate to their age and individual ability.
• Maintain safe and clean surroundings at all times and follow health and safety and fire procedures.
