An exciting opportunity has arisen in Ward 2 St Andrews Community Hospital for a Band 2 auxiliary nurse.
You are expected to have a passion for care and medicine of the older adult with a focus on rehabilitation, as well as specialist palliative care. Experience in delivering a high level of person centred care. Alongside our MDT colleagues this role involves contributing to the improvement of a health and safety culture to prevent and reduce risks in the delivery of care to our patients. Interpersonal skills, I.T and communication skills at different levels are essential for this post.
If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post.
