Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Auxiliary to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Auxiliary, you will provide essential support to nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:
- Supports healthcare team in providing direct clients care.• Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.• Helps with mobility, transfers, and positioning of clients.• Monitors and records client's vital signs.• Reports any significant changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.• Ensures accurate medication administration and documentation.• Creates and maintains a safe and clean environment for clients.• Follows infection control protocols.• Maintains cleanliness of clients rooms and common areas.• Ensures proper disposal of medical waste.• Assists clients and their families in coping with illness or injury.• Offers emotional support and actively listens to clients concerns.• Provides comfort during difficult times.• Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of client's information.• Works collaboratively with care managers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.• Actively participates in clients care planning.• Contributes to interdisciplinary meetings and discussions.
-Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Nursing Auxiliary or similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
