SalaryJustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Admission Avoidance Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.
The pay for this position is £20-£24 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
To support clients in their own homes with either short or long term conditions, promoting their independence and safety at home, whilst preventing unnecessary hospital admissions.
Provide appropriate equipment, having completed risk assessments / Ensure Systm1 is kept up to date with all documentations in a 24 hour period of the assessments taking place.
Support the Assistant Practitioners with joint visits.
Hold a caseload, with the expectation of a minimum of 3 visits per day.
Supporting the rest of the Community Occupational Therapy Team with clinical oversight.
Attend appropriate meetings/in-service training sessions as appropriate.
To escalate concerns as and when they occur.
To support the Team Lead and Service Manager as requested.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.
