Our client, based in Aylesbury, are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their growing team. This is being recruited for an immediate start on a Permanent basis.
The successful individual will be highly organized and proactive Office Administrator who will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our client's office environment. From managing supplies to assisting senior management and overseeing administrative tasks, you will be a key contributor to our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take inventory of office supplies and order as needed.
- Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining office procedures.
- Provide support to the senior management team as required.
- Maintain online and paper filing systems.
- Record office expenditure and manage the budget.
- Manage supplies of stationery, equipment, and staff uniforms.
- Maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs.
- Assist in the recruitment of new staff and provide training and induction support.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to cover absences and peaks in workload.
- Assist with staff appraisals, performance management, and disciplinary administration.
- Promote staff development, engagement, and training initiatives.
- Prepare reports for senior management.
- Review and update health and safety policies and ensure compliance.
- Ensure adherence to data protection laws and review/update policies.
- Arrange regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices.
