We are seeking an Office Administration Assistant to join a law firm in Cambridge. This position involves a wide range of duties including general office administration, facilities, health and safety, and reception tasks. The ideal candidate will be a confident and flexible individual who can work efficiently within tight deadlines and multitask on a daily basis.
Day to Day of the role:- Report and log any building-related problems/issues.
- Manage facilities, liaising with landlords to ensure maintenance of the premises.
- Supervise cleaning contracts and liaise with cleaning companies to maintain high standards.
- Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all office visitors.
- Organise and set up meeting rooms, assist with events, and manage kitchen and toiletry supplies.
- Maintain the reception area, conference rooms, and general office space, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
- Manage conference room bookings and IT equipment.
- Arrange travel and accommodation for Partners and employees as required.
- Handle deliveries, couriers, and post, as well as maintain and order office stationery supplies.
- Act as the first point of contact for new starters, providing office tours and covering all necessary procedures.
- Experience in an office environment is essential, with a preference for previous reception/office administration experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient IT skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
