Our client is a small, friendly, very successful and busy company looking to expand and grow. This role is to work alongside another administrator supporting daily administration and co-ordination tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business.Tasks involve:- Liaising with customers via phones and email and being their first point of contact to gather information.
- Be a point of contact for customers on progress of work.
- Taking new bookings for plant hire or customer call out requests.
- Dealing with purchase orders
- Arranging appointments with customers and booking in the technician.
- Handling diaries of technicians and surveyors. Having the patience to understand there will be last minute changes.
- Communicating with Technicians/Engineers on a regular basis (around 20)
- Managing client's requests by using a diary system
- Communicating with Contractors, Insurance companies and Loss Adjusters to provide the best service to the customer.
- Finalising completed jobs, recording the relevant information on job sheets.
- Producing costings, invoices and managing ad hoc payments.
- Receiving and answering enquiry calls.
- General office administration such as ordering items for the office.
- Supporting the PA/office manager, operations manager and directors where required.

Experience and skills- Office and Customer Service experience

- PC Literate - Word and Excel

- Ability to be sometimes be persuasive
