Role: Office Administrator/ Sales Order ProcessorIndustry: ManufacturingLocation: Basingstoke, HampshireSalary: £26,000-£28,000Office Angels have teamed up with a forward thinking, dynamic client who are in the manufacturing industry, are looking to recruit an office Administrator/ Sales Order Processor. This role is a busy role and you will based in the office Monday to Friday. You will join an established team of individuals who are hardworking, have excellent communication skills as well as enjoying developing within this company and sector.The day to day duties in your new job will be….full time, 5 days and flexible starting time 08:00-09:00 finish 16:00-17:30Must be able to be flexible in the role and work autonomously and independentlyObjective of Role:To free up more time from existing sales personnelCreate a more efficient sales cycle and sales functions e.g.managing enquiries (exhibitions, web, phone)Tracking quotesFollowing up offersAllow the sales personnel to generate more projects and leads.To support existing office staff in daily functions e.g.Answering telephonesTaking and relaying messagesProviding spares parts prices, availability and taking orders. Sage 200 accounting, Sales Order processing.To cover holidays for existing holiday staffJob Description:- To have experience in working in a small office environment- To be computer literate, windows, outlook, word, Adobe PDF, Excel Power Point- Experience with a recent CRM (Customer relationship management) package an advantage.- Office IT and basic marketing; e.g. insert hyperlink into email or documents- Marketing functions: mail merge, power point presentations, direct email marketing.- Knowledge of LinkedIn, Twitter, Posting articles and news into digital forums.- Inform customers directly, (email and phone) of offers and promotions- Be comfortable in booking flights, hotels, hire cars, for sales and engineer tripsSales administration assistance for Managing Director and Sales DirectorCorrespondence for Managing Director - letters, mailshots, emails over the phone when travellingQuote summaries from supplier offersExperience of accounting, Sales Order processing preferableExperience of Sage 200 accounting software very preferable.Can take dictation over phone for messages, email replies, letters etc., from other company personnel whilst they are travelling.- Manage multiple outlook calendars and schedule and invite appointments- Support sales staff with admin, e.g. Expenses, exhibition planning, customer invites)Travel arrangements for suppliers and customers including hotels, flightsMaintain company databasesSpare Parts - supporting role functions to other staff.Taking orders & sending out partsEntering Supplier invoices onto Sage system and raising invoices to customerReturned parts - recording returned parts and sending for repair, monitoring progress and coordinating repair/replacement of faulty unitsMonitoring delivery dates of outstanding orders and chasing suppliers where necessaryChecking UK stock holding and re-ordering, deleting and adding parts as necessaryHelping customers identify correct part numbersCareer progressionPension schemeHealth schemeStrong training programmeNext steps…Apply today with your up to date CV as well as emailing it directly to .
