Contract: 13 hours per week; Part time (full time is 36 hours per week); Term Time plus 1 working week (44.763 weeks per year).Hours: 2 days per week - 6.5 hours per day; 08.30 - 15.30 (30 minute unpaid break) Wednesday and ThursdayStart date: 01 September 2024Hurst Park Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a part time Office Assistant. All school office roles are varied and involve contributing to a number of tasks in a busy office environment. They are frontline roles which require excellent customer service skills and an ability to relate well with pupils across the primary age range as well as adult colleagues. You will need to be a committed team player, supporting the effective delivery of administrative functions to both the school and the Trust. In this environment you will need to be hands on, flexible and proactive with a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude.LEO Academy Trust runs its administration services centrally. As such, there will be a two-way supportive relationship between the central team and the school office that you will support.A knowledge of Arbor and the google suite of programmes would be helpful but not essential as full training can be given. However, you will need the ability to quickly pick up new skills, and have a good understanding of IT systems.You will:

Have experience working in a school, but this is not essential as we recognise the strengths developed through different working backgrounds.Have successfully worked within a team and be able to build excellent working relationshipsThe role will include liaising with the site team and Central Finance and HR teams. You will be supported by the Office Manager.
