The Burford Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with an innovative start-up business that is looking to add an experienced Office Manager to its small but growing team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role within this growing business and will be involved heavily in the administrative, sales support, accounts, purchasing, and HR functions. You will have daily contact with customers and suppliers, as well as supporting the Business Development Manager, Purchasing and Logistics Manager, and Managing Director in day-to-day business operations. This is a varied role that would suit a skilled and organised multitasker with significant experience across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration & Customer Service
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the business in sales, accounts, purchasing, and HR.
- Providing reactive and proactive communication with customers.
- Monitor various inboxes
- Providing daily operational administrative support to the Business Development Manager and APAC Sourcing Manager.
- Maintaining records for sales and purchasing activities.
- Assisting in managing databases and filing systems.
- Accounts
- Liaise with the external Bookkeeper on account queries
- Monitoring invoices, and managing aged payables and receivables.
- Budget and Cashflow Monitoring
- Monitoring and processing employee expenses
- Communication
- Liaison between the Director and departments.
- Facilitate communication between sales and purchasing teams.
- Provide regular updates to the Director.
