The Client:
A global sustainable investment firm are searching for a temporary Office Manager to support for 3 months on a temporary basis. The ideal person for this role will be detail-oriented, with a muck-in mentality and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
Office Manager duties will include but are not limited to:
- First point of contact and responsible for day-to-day running of the office
- Liaising with building and facilities management on all relevant matters
- Coordinating deliveries, couriers and contractors
- Working closely with EAs on all meetings/events in the office
- Managing and ordering stock of all stationery, F&B, etc.
- Upholding and reporting on office sustainability policies
- Managing the wellness program, including organizing in-house lunches and lunchtime talks
The successful Office Manager will:
- Be available ASAP for a minimum of 3 months
- Have previous OM experience within a similar financial or professional services environment (ideal)
- Demonstrate willingness to take ownership over operational management and initiative to problem solve
- Be capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Have prior experience in Office Management or Operations
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be highly adaptable and able to muck-in from day one
The Details and Benefits:
- Hourly rate up to £33/hour plus holiday pay, depending on experience
- Standard hours are 9am-5:30pm, with some flexibility required
- The role starts ASAP
