We are delighted to be partnered with a leading Asset Management firm in desirable offices in Mayfair.
Due to growth of the business (soon to be moving into new larger office space) we require a full time (5 days in office), permanent Office Manager/Float EA to join them as soon as possible.
The role of Office Manager is varied, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the office on a day to day basis as the main point of contact for external suppliers and contractors, you will also look after the following areas:
• Reception Team management
- • Assist with organising company events; conferences, offsites, dinners, teambuilding and staff parties.
- Host monthly EA meeting
• Space planning management: in charge of layout/space, desk moves
• Upkeep of all storage spaces and ensuring office supplies are maintained
- Provide float EA support- ad-hoc support for the wider administration team
Facilities • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients as and when necessary
• Help with the move to new larger office - including all compliance H&S, budgets etc.
HR • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including Reception/Assistant Manual and Employee Handbook, updating job descriptions and department briefing, overseeing the recruitment process from start to finish;
Essential Requirements & Skills
• Previous managerial experience in a similar role
• Proven experience and knowledge of working in a fast paced and busy office environment
• Be organised and have excellent time management skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and handle a complex and varied workload
• A strong knowledge of Microsoft IT packages
• Communication skills, both in person and in writing, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Analytical and problem-solving with confident decision making
• The ability to lead and manage teams and projects with commercial awareness • Attention to detail but also the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture.
