A leading, furniture and interiors company is looking for a highly organised and proactive problem solver to join their creative and dynamic team as an Office Manager.
Working within an inspiring workplace, with a team that all work together and love what they do, you will play a crucial part within the management team and will be responsible for ensuring the showroom and office environments meet the brands high standards.
Managing a small team of 3, inspiring them to be the best they can be, you will work closely with the other departments and the company directors, to ensure this company keeps going from strength to strength.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, a creative problem solver who approaches all tasks with energy and enthusiasm. You'll have excellent attention to detail with the natural ability to drive projects, improve systems and productivity - love working with people and beautiful products in equal measure!
In this Office Manager position, your day will involve:- Being the guardian of the inspiring workspace, ensuring the brand values and high standards are maintained at all times.
- Be the go-to person for any office/showroom upkeep issues, taking ownership of projects.
- Inspiring the whole company to do their part to keep this workspace a happy place to be.
- Facilities management, coordinating with external suppliers for maintenance visits when required.
- Ordering/overseeing any showroom/office equipment.
- Prioritising your team's workload, overseeing problem-solving to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Conduct appraisals, set objectives, and oversee recruitment, development, motivation, and retention of your team members.
- Supervise the arrangement of the showroom, collaborating with the team to ensure adherence to brand standards and maintain quality control.
- Oversee showroom projects and systems.
- Ensure the practicality, efficiency, and durability of the showroom, along with compliance with health and safety standards.
- Coordinate updates to the internal showroom database: including location updates, item code/category changes, and overseeing regular stock checks.
- When stock needs repair, ensure safe and efficient use of the repairs room and equipment and uphold quality control standards.
- Minimum of two years in team management and departmental leadership is required.
