Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Office Manager who enjoys being the go-to person to help others ! in this role you will manage the office and ensure that it runs to clock work, you will not manage any staff.
Responsibilities:
Workspace Management: Ensure a positive, welcoming office environment with oversight of facilities and reception services.
Visitor Relations: Act as the primary contact, warmly welcoming staff, customers, suppliers, and contractors.
Culture Contributor: Play a pivotal role in shaping the company's workplace culture and overall success.
Operational Management:
Visitor and Staff Services: Efficiently manage print, postal services, and supplies ordering.
Safety Oversight: Lead safety procedures, risk assessments, and workstation checks, collaborating on security measures.
Contract Coordination: Manage external contractors and service providers effectively.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with the Chief People Officer and the People and Organisation Development team.
Specific Tasks:
Reception Excellence: Oversee the reception desk, ensuring a warm welcome for all visitors.
Office Maintenance: Maintain a clean, tidy, organized, and safe office environment.
Safety Compliance: Manage risk assessments, fire safety surveys, PAT, and H&S processes.
Equipment Maintenance: Keep records of equipment maintenance.
Greenery Coordination: Coordinate with an external company for office plant maintenance.
Postal Services: Ensure contracted postal services meet office needs.
Logistics Mastery: Arrange domestic and international deliveries efficiently.
Print Management: Handle internal and external print requirements.
Training Facilitation: Keep the team updated with Health and Safety training.
Stock and Supplies: Oversee office, kitchen, and operational stock.
External Liaison: Coordinate with local authorities, industry initiatives, and the landlord.
Community Engagement: Actively participate in local business community initiatives.
