Office Manager - £30K to £35K (DOE) - City of London - Office Based

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including reception duties, mail distribution, and office supply management.
- Coordinate administrative activities such as scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and managing calendars for executives and staff.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain office policies and procedures, implementing necessary updates to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure proper functioning of office equipment and systems, troubleshooting issues and liaising with IT support when necessary.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking, managing office expenditures within established guidelines.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity, maintaining security protocols.
- Organize company events and meetings, including logistics, catering, and materials preparation.
- Foster a positive work environment by resolving conflicts, promoting teamwork, and implementing employee engagement initiatives.
About you:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Prior experience in budget management and procurement processes is preferred.
