What we need from you as an experienced Office Team Leader:
- You will need to have experience working in a similar industry and have knowledge of training/apprenticeships and funding
- Experienced in using MIS systems
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and computer systems in general
- Previous experience managing a small Office Team
- Excellent customer service skills - both face to face and over the phone/email
- Strong attention to detail and expect this from the team you work with
- You will be well organised, with experience meeting deadlines
- Hold a UK Driving Licence, with access to your own vehicle
What this role involves:
Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team of administrators and reception staff. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Organise daily work flows to optimise efficiently
- As a team you will work to deadlines which all have to be met
- Working with key stakeholders and partners that require information to be uploaded correctly and on time
- Audit function - as a team you are responsible for compliance and securing funding
- Organise daily tasks, working alongside the senior managers and directors in the business to ensure their needs are met
- Constantly look for ways to improve the efficiency of the department by improving processes and systems
- Carry out yearly appraisals with each team member and monthly 1:1s to discuss output, areas of good practice and other areas to improve
- Occasionally visit other locations to support team members
Salary/hours: £23,000 - £27,000 per year. Working Monday to Thursday 8.45am - 5pm and Friday 8.45am - 4pm. 45 minutes lunch break each day.
