Rate: £24,000K - £27,000 per annum
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8:00am – 2:30pm
Our client is seeking a reliable and organised Office Assistant to join their team in the Material Planning and Customer Service Logistics department.
This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term employment based on performance and company needs.
Office Assistant will cover Material planning, warehousing admin, customer service admin and other similar jobs.
The role will be primarily office based with the occasional piece of work in the warehouse:
Responsibilities:
• Assist with material planning and tracking to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service support via phone and email.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including production planning, customer service and shipping, to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed. There may be other projects as we see fit but the general idea that the candidate will learn to cover for all roles as required to cover holidays and sickness.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with some manufacturing, planning or logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle time-sensitive tasks.
