Easter Temp - On Board Assistant

We are working with one of the most prestigious TOCs in the UK, who specialise in train travel from Scotland and the Northeast to London. They are looking for temp / seasonal workers to join their team at Edinburgh Waverley Station for a few weeks to assist their station staff with their daily duties and high influx of passengers during the festive time.

The Role:

The role itself will be station based. You will be based at Edinburgh and your job purpose will be to provide luggage assistance to customers - both on and off the train. You will take the train from Edinburgh to Dundee and then from Dundee to Newcastle. Once arriving at Newcastle you will have an hour break and then return to Edinburgh. Your duties will consist of:

- Helping passengers embark and disembark the train with a ramp

- Helping people with luggage on and off the train

- Keeping the gang ways clear on the train

For this role, the start date will be the 23 rd of March and the last day will be 7 th April.

The Company:

The company you will be joining runs some of the highest mileage routes in the UK. They operate a fleet of 200+ trains and operate over 50 stations across Scotland, London, Northeast England, Yorkshire & the Humber, East Midlands and even the East of England.

Remuneration & Benefits:

* �11.43p/h rate

Requirements:

* Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test - cannot have consumed any recreational or non-prescribed drugs within the last 3 - 6 months
* Happy to help mentality/attitude
* NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
