We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Support Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to two pupils who are on the autistic spectrum. This position involves working closely with these pupils during morning and afternoon sessions, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.This vital role encompasses guiding and assisting these pupils through their morning sessions from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM and their afternoon sessions from 12:45 PM to 3:00 PM.
The preferred candidate for this role should have experience in EYFS and one-on-one support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). They should demonstrate commitment, reliability, high attendance, and the ability to adapt to the child's needs and interests, fostering motivation and engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Utilisation and development of 1:1 resources.
- Experience working with SEN pupils
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and TA's to organise appropriate activities.
- Liaise with other professionals such as Teacher's, TA, specialist support staff.
- Work closely with other LSA's and support staff.
- Work with classes, small groups and with children on a One to One basis.
- Prepare and develop class displays.
- Keep up to date records of the pupil's progress and contribute to the child's EHCP plan.
- Create a calm environment where learning can take place.
Essential requirements:
- Work on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have Special Educational Needs
- Experience of working with young people.
- Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
- Ability to engage with, and build rapport with young people.
- Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style.
- TA qualified. L2/3.
