JOB TITLE - Online Parts advisor / Digital Marketing
LOCATION - Kimpton near Luton
SALARY - £28,000 - £30,000
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
Our Clients are a well respected independently owned and well renowned garage specialising in the repair and restoration of classic cars,
Recently the opportunity has arisen for an online Digital Parts sales advisor in their classic car workshop.
The Role
* End to end coordination of the Online parts customer buying experience from initial enquiry to invoicing of the job through to updating the website and parts database
* Liaison with the General Manager and the Parts Advisors to ensure a streamlined process
* Responsible for the social media content of the business (on Facebook and Instagram) and the use of it to drive sales campaigns for the Parts Department primary and the Service Department if required
* Keep website updated and expand the Parts Sales section of the website from 600 product lines to 6000 product lines
* Assist the General Manager with administrative support for the Service customers
* To sell parts worldwide to our mail order customers * To maintain our reputation for high quality customer service at all times
Customer contact
* Contact with customers will be by phone, in person and by email
* Send out service schedules to prospective customers
* A professional and confident telephone manner is required as is an ability to triage the calls in order to optimize communication flows
* The job holder must be well presented (branded Company clothing will be provided) as they will meet customers on a daily basis
Skills Needed
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, is a key requirement as keeping customers and internal departments informed is critical
* Excellent IT skills including a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel are key. Knowledge of Googlesheets and Photoshop would be helpful - training will be given if not
* Experience of digital camera technology is desirable but training will be given if not
* Confident user of social media platforms - in particular Facebook/Instagram and the ability to use them effectively to achieve the Company's objectives
* A sales background would be helpful although not essential
* A personal interest in classic/specialist cars would be an advantage in fitting in. Technical knowledge of car parts would be desirable but not essential
* Full UK driving license, preferably clean but 3 points would be acceptable
