Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a growing FMCG manufacturer to recruit an Operational Excellence Manager to work at their Worksop facility.
Forming part of the Senior Leadership team, the Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for ensuring the manufacturing, fulfilment and warehouse operations are continuously improving as well as analysing current practices and developing process improvements, structures and teams to ensure continuous company performance.
Our client is looking for someone who has a good working proficiency in Lean Methodologies and a proven track record of delivering improvement projects both as an individual and through teams.
Duties and responsibilities for the Operational Excellence Manager include:
- Accountable for and drive the Site Improvement Agenda
- Ensure team members have a clear understanding and are provided with the necessary resources
- Coach and support teams to drive Operational Excellence
- Develop a highly motivated and inclusive team
- Ensure the site always operates at 'audit ready' standards and promote a proactive quality culture within the team
- Identify constraints or bottlenecks and identify ways to resolve the issue
We would like to speak withOperational Excellence Managers with the following skills/experience:
- Experience in a high-speed volume manufacturing environment
- Good working proficiency in continuous improvement concepts and practices
- Supervisory experience with broad working knowledge of relevant safety legislation
- Ideally financial and budget control experience
