We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operational Support Planner to join our Supply Chain team within our Head Office in Deeside, near Chester. This would be a great role for someone who likes to work in fast paced environment, with a strong analytical mind, has the ability to multitask and contributes to improving processes.

Purpose of Role:

• To support the existing store support team with daily and weekly tasks.
• To support the existing planning team with daily and weekly tasks.
• Deliver New & Refit program.
• Provide ad hoc reports to Supply Chain.
• Deliver Closure store program.
• To improve optimisation across the Iceland estate.
• To develop processes for new business to business customers.

Technical Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of inhouse systems advantageous but training will be provided to develop these skills.
• High level of numeracy ability.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience:

• Knowledge and experience of Supply Chain principals
• Effective communicator
• Results orientated.
• Customer focused.
• Logical and analytical approach.
