Operations Administrator
Annual Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including inventory management, order processing, and liaising with different departments to ensure smooth operations. This role requires someone who is enthusiastic, open-minded, and eager to learn, with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Answering phones and responding to clients’ requests and inquiries
- Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Coordinating with the warehouse and production teams to dispatch orders and communicate updates or issues with customers
- Processing orders and ensuring follow-ups are completed, including purchase orders, dispatch notes, proformas, invoices, and certificates of analysis
- Operating and overseeing CRM and ERP software to maintain efficient workflows
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal colleagues to facilitate planning, ordering, delivery, and accounting requirements
- Recording sales information, documents, and customer contact information accurately
- Assisting with the purchasing of stock and contacting clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience in purchasing, logistics, and customer service.
- Enthusiastic and open-minded with a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Organised and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and be proactive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high interpersonal competence and negotiation abilities.
- Committed to exceeding expectations.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and the ability to work with various technologies (laptops, phones, printers, etc.).
- Capable of working independently when required.
