Operations Administrator Chelmsford, Essex £23,000 - £25,000 DOE + Benefits + Progression
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a leading and specialist construction company based near Chelmsford.
The Role:
You will be assisting with the day to day administration to ensure the smooth running of the office across all divisions.
- Secretarial support and screening telephone calls
- Complete job costing
- Booking accommodation as required
- Creating and distributing quotations
- Data entry on cost spreadsheets and CRM database
- Ordering of materials
- Creating job files
- Diary management
- Preparation of documents as required
- Booking of training requirements
- Assist in the preparation for internal/external audits where required
- Note taking
- Liaise with and supporting Directors and Managers
The Candidate:
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Previous administration experience within a construction environment will be considered automatically
- Previous experience with job costing, quotations and ordering of materials would be a major advantage
- Computer literate in Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- MUST be a car owner / driver (due to location)
Hours:
Hours - 40 per week, Monday - Friday on a 2-week rota: 8am to 4pm and 9am to 5pm
