Job description

Operations Administrator Chelmsford, Essex £23,000 - £25,000 DOE + Benefits + Progression

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a leading and specialist construction company based near Chelmsford.

The Role:

You will be assisting with the day to day administration to ensure the smooth running of the office across all divisions.

  • Secretarial support and screening telephone calls
  • Complete job costing
  • Booking accommodation as required
  • Creating and distributing quotations
  • Data entry on cost spreadsheets and CRM database
  • Ordering of materials
  • Creating job files
  • Diary management
  • Preparation of documents as required
  • Booking of training requirements
  • Assist in the preparation for internal/external audits where required
  • Note taking
  • Liaise with and supporting Directors and Managers

The Candidate:

  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Previous administration experience within a construction environment will be considered automatically
  • Previous experience with job costing, quotations and ordering of materials would be a major advantage
  • Computer literate in Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • MUST be a car owner / driver (due to location)

Hours:

Hours - 40 per week, Monday - Friday on a 2-week rota: 8am to 4pm and 9am to 5pm
