Our client who are based in Reading are currently recruiting for a Operations Administrator to join their team. This role is a very busy and varied position so the successful candidate must be confident to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Reading, fully office based
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
- Salary - up to 24k
As the OperationsAdministrator, you will be responsible for:
- Contacting customers by phone and email to arrange collection of goods.
- Provide quotes to customers for new and existing customers and then invoice so will involve taking card payments over the phone.
- Updating Sage on a weekly basis to ensure payments have been received and then write up collection paperwork.
- Liaise with the transport manager to obtain collection dates to provide to the customer, also to liaise with the driver if required.
- Follow up collection emails on a weekly basis.
- Liaise with lease companies if there are issues with the returned / received goods.
- File collection paperwork and match with invoices when received.
- Updating Excel spreadsheets on a daily basis to keep a record of returns.
The successful Operations Administrator will have the following related skills / experience:
- Proven track record of working in a busy administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative, quickly and calmly under pressure.
- A confident telephone manner is essential.
- Likes to talk and negotiate with customers.
