Operations Administrator
We are currently partnering with a Dorset based innovative Engineering Design and Manufacturing business who have transformed themselves into a leading Global brand and premium supplier within their specialism.
Our client is seeking a professional and experienced Operations Administrator with experience within a manufacturing background to join a close-knit engineering team in Poole.
Assisting the Manufacturing Manger with all day-to-day business support you will work alongside various departments with your role will extending to administration surrounding Health and safety, Facilities, Human resources, general administration and greeting visitors onsite.
Key experience as Operations Administrator:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as an administrator within a professional business environment.
- You will have strong proficient IT Skills
- The ideal candidate will display a can-do attitude, prepared to get involved with aspects of the business as necessary, getting stuck in as it were.
- Administration and support in HR, Health and safety, Facilities and reception will be some of the disciplines that this role will cover.
You will be willing to embrace all aspects of the role and learn or develop your skills in any areas that you may not already have working experience
- Strong prioritising skills are a must, arranging work appropriately in order of urgency.
- A tactful and diplomatic individual is a must always demonstrating accuracy and confidentiality.
- HR or Health and Safety administration experience is required.
Key Responsibilities as Operations Administrator:
- Health and Safety administration, supporting and reviewing risk assessments, safe working procedures, COSHH, safety induction training.
- HR administration, recording attendance, holiday, managing support for personal files, promotions, appraisals, recruitment, employment, holiday requests, training, and leavers.
- Facilities administration and support such as arranging contractors such as cleaners, landscapers, plumbers, electricians, stock level management.
- General administration throughout the business, purchasing factory supplies, PPE, furniture, and office stationery as well as stock level management.
- Answering and handling incoming calls politely and professionally
- Greeting visitors to the premises
