Main Purpose of Role:
Are you passionate about managing the Council’s Operations and Assets to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the town council’s portfolio?
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Operations and Assets Manager to join the Town Council and oversee the management of our Operations and Assets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Council’s Operations and Assets portfolio worth more than 2.1M
- Inspire and lead a team of committed and hardworking staff.
- Provide strategic oversight on the development and improvement works.
- Cultivate supplier and customer relations.
- Seek out commercial opportunities.
- Commitment to the Council’s promise of tackling climate change.
What we’re looking for:
- Creative problem skills
- Strategic thinking abilities.
- Specialist knowledge in town council assets and operations.
- Strong record keeping and compliance skills.
- Project management skills.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have a strong background in asset management or a related field, with excellent asset project management and communication skills. Knowledge of Council assets, compliance, town council operational duties and leadership skills is highly desirable.
