SalaryAsset Manager – Midlands to North East (Hybrid) – c£42k
We’re working with a major international Property Services group who work across the UK with a range of clients from FTSE100 companies to national property developers, landlord, freeholders and Resident Management companies.
Within their Asset Management team, which maximises Asset Value and Returns for property clients, they now require an additional Asset Manager as follows:
- Working part home, part office based 35 hours per week Mon-Fri
- Assisting the Asset Management Team Leader in delivering an effective and professional asset management service to key clients.
- Establishing strong relationships with tenants in order to maximise asset value and returns through rent reviews, lease renewals and cost savings
- Identifying opportunities to maximise service provision/fees
- Managing the portfolio in accordance with all relevant regulatory framework (RICS, ARMA etc.), including but not limited to H&S, Fire Risk and Insurance.
- Property Inspections
- Reviewing Managing Agent performance in relation to property upkeep and financial management
- Advising clients on acquisition and disposal matters
- Deal with Service Charge matters where applicable.
Suitable Asset Manager applicants will have excellent communication skills (verbal/written), 3 years Asset Management experience, good system skills (Microsoft office etc.) and a full driving license (to travel to parts of the portfolio)
In addition, suitable Asset Manager applicants will come from a stable career background, have an enthusiasm for Property and genuinely wish to progress their Asset Management career in a fast paced property environment.
Salary for the successful Asset Manager will start at up to £38k (plus car allowance (£4500) and benefits) with reviews and uplifts based on tenure and performance alongside a structured, accelerated career path.
