You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

The purpose of the Operations Assistant role is to provide support to both the Resourcing team and the Operations team in the Guildford and Gatwick offices. Ensuring a number of operational activities related to people are planned and co-ordinated to help compliment the employment experience within the office. To assist with the provision of an efficient, effective and professional resourcing support service across both offices. Providing resource administration services to all members of the group, anticipating, and fulfilling their needs.

Responsibilities

Assist with the undertaking a range of administrative tasks connected with supporting the local resourcing team and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of South East Audits staffing requirements. These are as follows but not limited to -

  • Assist with the coordination of the interim and end of year review process within the Audit structure.
  • Review and challenge Annual Leave and Time off in Lieu requests for trainee auditors.
  • Undertake future study planning for trainees.
  • Support the resourcing team, HR, and individuals when they have exam fails or deferrals.
  • Reviewing of timecards and tracking utilisation for trainees.
  • Supporting the inbox for the resourcing team.
  • Managing the communication, training, and feedback for our offshore teams.

Personal attributes and skills

  • The ideal person will have proven administration/co-ordination experience, and be well versed in organising and juggling a variety of people activities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple deadlines.
  • Proven organisational ability and be able to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to build relationships at all levels and influence where necessary to help deliver the role.
  • Be pro-active, can plan ahead and identify areas for improvement/change.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to be discreate with confidential information.
