I am working with an incredibly exciting organisation, seeking a Travel Operations Coordinator to join their fast paced and expanding travel organisation! Based in the centre of Cheltenham, this a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for travel, to start their career within this exciting and growing industry!
Key Responsibilities:
* Booking hotels, according to availability and brief
* Accurately book all services required for the successful operation of the tour within the budget set
* Calculating any additional requests or changes
* To prepare and check the final documentation before sending out to clients
* Liaising with agents directly on any changes or requirements to the tours
* Recording keeping and sharing feedback from each tour, to ensure that improvements are made, to allow for the best service
* Successfully deliver the guests’ tours, ensuring it runs perfectly and exceeds their high expectations
The Candidate:
* Previous experience within travel would be highly advantageous
* A passion for travel is a must!
* Willingness to develop relationships with suppliers
* Must be numerate and a good basic understanding of maths
* A good level of geographical and general knowledge of Europe is desirable
* Articulate and creative
* A second European language is highly desirable
* Must have an exceptional telephone manner and written communication skills
* The ability to build and maintain strong commercial relationships
