The Role
An opportunity as an International Project Coordinator to work on UK and International projects, providing support to new business opportunities and projects across the range of CAAi service lines (Advisory, Training and Examinations) to fulfil our purpose of raising aviation standards around the world.
Core Accountabilities Include:
- Responsible for supporting project delivery and desk-based services of small sized projects while managing profitability, scope and resources and delivery to the plan to the customer satisfaction
- Responsible for administrative support and governance of projects including stakeholder liaison, planning, meeting scheduling, project control, risk management, management reporting and lessons learnt, whilst utilising our CRM system
- Responsible for analysing data or conducting research activities to support business development, new product development, marketing activity and management
- Supporting the preparation of bid documentation and contracts
- Responsible for supporting contract management with external suppliers, collaborating with the wider CAA support functions (Procurement and Finance, etc).
- Liaise with external authorities and organisations where required
- Responsible for delivering tasks and maintaining documentation in compliance with our Quality Management System and ISO 9001 standard
- Support the production of management reports for senior management meetings, utilising the reporting functions of a variety of databases/IT packages
- Provide training to colleagues as required
About You
To be considered for the role you will need to have:
- Graduate or relevant work experience in similar area, and a passion for aviation.
- Excellent IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with experience of working to deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability of working autonomously and using initiative
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good problem-solving skills with a solution focused approach
- Flexibility and adaptability as the role involves multiple and diverse activities
- Good stakeholder engagement skills, in order to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders and sub-contractors
Desirable Criteria:
- Aviation experience or a background in a technically orientated industry
- Commercial judgement and a broad understanding of the international aviation community
- Understanding of project management methodologies
Additional Information
For many appointments within the CAA, these roles require access to operationally sensitive infrastructure and/or Nationally Protected information. For these roles the post holders must undergo National Security Vetting and achieve the appropriate level of clearance.
