Our client is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and driven individual to join their Rapid Prototyping (RP) Projects Department. As the RP Project Coordinator, you will act as the liaison between sales, production, customers, and subcontract suppliers. Your primary responsibilities will include providing technical advice, quotations, capacity, and schedule information to assist customers in achieving their product requirements and deadlines. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and a solid engineering background. Commercial awareness and the ability to work well under pressure are essential due to the demanding nature of the role.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between sales, production, customers, and subcontract suppliers.
- Provide technical advice, quotations, and scheduling information to assist customers in meeting their product requirements and deadlines.
- Liaise with customers and decision-makers to win business and develop strong relationships.
- Monitor and promote other services to customers to fulfil their needs and increase sales.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that production targets are met.
- Conduct external visits to other group companies and customers as required.
- Maintain clear and concise communication in both written and verbal form.
- Manage projects effectively to ensure timely completion.
- Utilize knowledge of CNC machine processes to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Previous project management experience.
- Interest in 3D printing processes.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Knowledge of CNC machine processes.
- Ability to manage scheduling capacity and promote additional services to customers.
- Manufacturing and/or engineering background.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable:
- CAD knowledge (Mini Magics, SolidWorks, CATIA, and Space claim).
- Ability to read 2D engineering drawings.

- Standard hours of work: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday with an hour lunch break (37½-hour week).
