A little bit about the role
We are recruiting a Legal and Compliance Officer to support our Legal and Compliance Manager with oversight of and advising our workforce on all matters around legislation, contracts, compliance and data security. Working as part of the Operations team, this role will use their legal and compliance expertise to help Frontline deliver the most impactful programmes that help children and families.
Some key responsibilities include:
- To offer pragmatic legal advice to colleagues to help minimise legal risk and advise on a variety of contracts covering issues such as venue hire, consultancy and data sharing.
- Helping to administer insurance policies and maintain relationship with insurers.
- Maintaining and improving Frontline’s policies, processes and systems to ensure compliance with current and upcoming data protection regulations.
- Supporting the compliance & wider operations team to meet their objectives through proactively supporting and taking on projects including requests from the Department for Education, Higher Education Institution partners and cross team projects.
A little bit about you
This role is suited for someone with experience in legal issues or contracts, preferably with a legal qualification, who is motivated by the challenge of meeting ambitious targets. We seek someone who can build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, manage multiple projects effectively, and demonstrates strong communication and organisational skills.
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn.
