Operations Director position for a leading Tier 1 Contractor in Northern IrelandKey role in supporting the Construction Director and driving company objectivesOverseeing project delivery across various sites and managing financial control
Job seniority: director level and above
Responsibilities
• Financial monitoring and control of contracts• Leading achievement of company procedures and objectives• Planning, monitoring, evaluating, and communicating project progress• Ensuring project delivery within agreed parameters• Troubleshooting and problem-solving conflicts or issues• Producing and analyzing progress reports and cost forecasting• Working closely with the Commercial team for accurate spend forecasting• Managing multiple projects with budgets over £75 million• Programme and risk management, cost control, and Microsoft Project experience• Collaborative team management and effective communication
Requirements
• Degree in Project Management or Quantity Surveying or equivalent• Driving Licence• Extensive experience in managing multiple construction projects• Experience in programme and risk management, cost control, and Microsoft Project• Strong organizational and planning skills• Attention to detail and accuracy• Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication• Flexibility and commitment to the organization
