We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead an Order to Cash Service in our Blackpool Centre of Excellence. The role will head up a large advisory and transactional delivery team of over 50 with 2 Service Delivery Managers as direct reports.
A key part will be hands on developing standard methodology and efficiency, working directly with senior partners and provide insightful, useful analysis and solutions. The ideal candidate will be analytical, have outstanding attention to detail, be self-driven with the ability to form relationships with high level stakeholders, and manage a large transactional team. Whilst also cultivating a culture of innovation and adaptability mentalities and encouraging a collaborative environment that embraces technological advancements, within their Team.
We offer a hybrid work pattern, where you will work from our office in Blackpool 2 days per week and the rest of the week you will be based at home.
What you'll be doing:
- Leadership of a Transactional Processing team, focused upon quality of service and achievement of commercial KPI's and SLA's.
- Understanding of department budget, with a strong focus on delivery departmental financial objectives and in year budget challenges.
- Implementation and management of an improved customer services strategy, putting the customer the heart of our delivery.
- The delivery of continuous improvement initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and improvements, developing personal and team skills to the highest standard possible.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, innovation and experimentation.
- Effective client engagement and stakeholder management with a cross range of clients, building outstanding relationships.
- Identifying, supporting and implementing growth opportunities across SSCL.
- Working across team boundaries to build strong working relationships across SSCL
- Leading the team to improve employee engagement and in turn Great Place to Work Scores.
- Raise awareness of and manage risks, issues and change in a cost-effective and timely manner.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience of a successful leadership within a large customer facing operational team.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, both with client and internal colleagues.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
- Experienced in the management of customer and client concerns, utilising this information to improve the service offering.
- Organisational Change and the ability to transition staff through sophisticated transformation programmes.
- Flexible and adaptable to cope with a fast-paced environment in a large organisation.
- Strong inter-personal skills.
- Experience of budget management.
