It's also exciting because of the bonus potential AND because of the potential next step for you it represents, which will be to assume the position of Operation's Director.
nThere's work to do to get there but to help you, this client has established systems in all the key areas you would want (Quality, HR, Finance, Training & Maintenance). They also have a dominant market position in their core localities.
n nFundamentally, the Operations Manager I'm looking for will be able to see the opportunity we see because they know the business of elderly care well. You may be a rising star in Regional Management, or you may be an existing Operations Manager. Perhaps you're from a corner of elderly care we haven't thought about.
nEither way, what's not important is the brand you've worked for previously. What's important is your drive to succeed and your ability to business plan and execute to the highest possible standard. That's because you're going to be the right hand of a seasoned Director partnership, enjoying direct daily contact with the MD whilst holding day-to-day responsibility for conducting the moving parts.

- A track record including tenure as Regional Manager or Operations Manager n
- From a business including Nursing Homes or Residential Homes n
- Leadership qualities that can stand up to scrutiny with humility n
- A visible leadership MO n
Considered a bonus e.g:

- Buy and build experience (acquiring distressed assets) n
- Making services successful where other operators have failed n
- Other merger and acquisition experience n
- Prior responsibility for FM or Procurement as well as care operations n
- MBA n
- etc n
